Key Responsibilities

As a Property Leasing Specialist at Hines, you will collaborate closely with the Community Manager to oversee the property's marketing, promotional, and sales initiatives. Your role will also focus on ensuring resident satisfaction throughout their lease term and facilitating lease renewals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of apartments before occupancy to guarantee they are in optimal condition for new residents.
  • Leading property tours for prospective residents and visitors.
  • Managing documentation processes, including credit screenings, criminal background checks, lease agreements, and move-in packages.
  • Formulating marketing strategies aimed at maintaining high occupancy levels while staying updated on market trends.
  • Utilizing and creating promotional materials and technologies to engage potential clients and drive revenue.
  • Ensuring the achievement of the property's financial and occupancy targets by directing marketing, advertising, and sales efforts while maintaining availability for occupancy.
  • Assisting the Leasing Manager with the lease renewal program and communication processes.
  • Building strong relationships with prospective and current residents to ensure satisfaction and facilitate leasing and renewal decisions.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience in leasing is required, with lease-up experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Entrata is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize olfactory, auditory, and visual senses for property inspections and emergency alarm detection.
  • Occasional physical inspections of the property, which may involve climbing stairs or accessing restricted areas.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Availability to respond to emergencies 24/7 and manage on-site operations during unforeseen events.
  • Willingness to transfer properties and work overtime as business needs arise.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
