About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our team at Preferred Apartment Communities. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a critical role in achieving our company's leasing goals and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing Activities: Conduct daily leasing activities, including attaining leasing goals, building rapport with prospects, and providing the ultimate in service to our residents.
  • Prospect Management: Answer telephone calls, internet inquiries, and in-person requests from prospects, and perform follow-up actions for every prospect.
  • Customer Service: Respond to and/or follow up on resident requests, log requests as needed, and communicate with residents and prospects in a manner consistent with our company's standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all required paperwork, associated with leasing, service, and satisfaction, accurately, professionally, and timely.
  • Property Maintenance: Visually inspect common areas, amenities, and vacant apartments to ensure cleanliness and professional presentation, and perform light bookkeeping and financial activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Multi-family leasing experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in sales and customer service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Social media marketing experience preferred.
