Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Customer Success Engineer who will provide technical assistance and enablement to our clients. In this position, you will become a product authority, passionate about problem-solving and customer service. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients across diverse industries and tools to gain insights into their workflows. You will act as a mentor and trusted advisor throughout the training, implementation, and adoption stages of the customer journey.

- Collaborate closely with the entire Customer Experience team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Act as a technical advisor, providing clients with best practices to maximize the use of the Censys Attack Surface Management Platform and Censys Search products.
- Work to minimize time to value for clients by guiding their operational workflows.
- Assist clients in deploying, testing, troubleshooting, and advising on integrations such as Cloud Connectors, Splunk, Jira, Service Now, and more.
- Serve as a customer advocate, influencing product roadmap and enhancements.
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) within the CSE team for specific areas of the platform.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills, including the ability to address large audiences.
- Familiarity with security tools, cloud services, and the information security sector.
- Understanding of common network protocols: HTTPS, SSH, SMTP, FTP, SMB, RDP, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of SSL/TLS and certificates.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
- 4+ years of experience in a Customer Success Engineering role.
- A resourceful, proactive attitude.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A strong desire to collaborate with exceptional clients and develop user-friendly applications and integrations.
- Proven experience managing a multi-million dollar portfolio.
- Active engagement with security news and events impacting the industry.
- Experience programming in languages such as Go or Python.
- A passion for creating tools that simplify processes (please share your GitHub repository).
