Job Details

SNI Companies is partnering with a leading radiology firm in Monmouth County, NJ to find a skilled Patient Services Representative.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient management during appointments, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate medical records.

This is a 100% on-site position with a unique schedule: Monday-Thursday 10:30am-7pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm, and one Saturday rotation every 5-6 weeks from 7:30am-12pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming patients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Assisting patients in completing necessary forms and documents for medical records and services
  • Providing information about the healthcare facility, services offered, and answering inquiries from patients and their families
  • Retrieving and releasing medical records to authorized personnel, ensuring proper authorization and documentation
  • Processing requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining accurate tracking and documentation
  • Entering patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and promptly
  • Verifying and updating demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
  • Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues promptly and effectively
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration related to patient care and records
  • Adhering to relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements regarding patient privacy, confidentiality, and medical records management
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, health information systems, and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry, record management, and communication
