About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse to join our team at Providence Extended Care. As a collaborative member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist with care and interventions, including life engagement and supervision of team members
  • Monitor implementation of care plans and coordinate referrals to other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Promote a resident-directed care model, utilizing every aspect of the environment and care model to promote quality of life and a sense of belonging

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation center)
  • Supervision/leadership experience
