We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grant Coordinator to provide project support to our Workforce Development & Health Equity teams. The successful candidate will work closely with our managers and project team members to meet organization, department, and grant goals and objectives effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and track project progress and engagement using various strategies and tools.
- Coordinate, collect, organize, and update documents and communication related to assigned projects, programs, services, and activities.
- Monitor deadlines, contracts, subrecipient agreements, MOUs, activities, and tasks associated with assigned grant projects.
- Assist with implementation of WF/HE grant activities, including coordinating data and document collection, scheduling meetings, researching guidelines, and submitting grant information and reports.
- Support the preparation of agency, department, and grant reports.
- Report project status, outcomes, and/or risks to management channels as needed.
- Follow and contribute to the development of APCA policies and guidelines relevant to workforce projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, APCA staff, stakeholders, and partners.
- Act as a point of contact for subrecipients, contracted vendors, and/or partners and facilitate communication with other APCA project staff.
- Participate in technical assistance training, office hours, webinars, and/or learning activities associated with assigned projects.
- Grain knowledge and expertise of grant data portals and submission processes.
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience in project and/or data coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3 years of experience in project and/or data coordination.
- Previous experience in community health centers, the Alaska healthcare industry, primary care associations, social service, and/or non-profit settings.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Travel RequirementsIn-city travel by personal vehicle for meetings, tasks, and errands as needed. In-state travel may occur.
Work EnvironmentDuties will generally be performed in an office setting with travel and associated accommodations throughout the local area, the state of Alaska, and the Lower 48 as needed.
