Position Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified ICU/Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Critical Care Unit Nurses (CCU) are responsible for providing care to patients experiencing severe, acute, and complex medical conditions or serious injuries that necessitate ongoing and thorough monitoring, as well as intensive medical care.
Key Responsibilities
CCU nurses are trained to:
- Administer medications and therapies that follow intricate protocols.
- Operate advanced medical equipment effectively.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
- Educate patients and their families on managing post-treatment care at home.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following onboarding requirements:
- BLS Certification
- CCU Examination
- Color Vision Assessment
- Core Mandatory Training Parts I, II, and III (Nursing)
Essential Skills
Successful candidates will possess:
- Expertise in preventing medication errors.
- Strong knowledge of RN pharmacology.
- A valid state nursing license.
