POSITION TITLE:
Nursing Professional - Primary Care Support

DEPARTMENT:
Clinic Services

ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is a nonexempt role responsible for delivering expert nursing care to patients within the clinic environment, adhering to established protocols and collaborating closely with physicians to guarantee optimal patient outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations, treatments, and diagnostic tests.
2. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatments, including medication assessments, to healthcare providers.
3. Maintain and update patient records, charts, and other relevant documentation.
4. Accurately record test results, patient interactions, and educational efforts in compliance with nursing and organizational standards.
5. Process medication orders as directed by the healthcare provider.
6. Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
7. Perform additional responsibilities as directed by supervisory staff.

SALARY RANGE:
$25-$48 (based on experience and education)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited CMA, LPN, or RN program.

Certifications/Licenses:
Current certification as a CMA, Alaska State LPN or Registered Nurse, along with a valid CPR certification. Current ACLS certification is preferred.
