Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Life-Assist, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our distribution facilities, driving warehouse management, facilities management, product distribution, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support distribution facilities to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse management, facilities management, and product distribution
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Lead and develop operational staff to achieve company objectives
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • 8+ years of industry-related experience, preferably in healthcare
  • 4+ years of prior management experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment, performance management, and warehouse management systems
  • Proven track record of success implementing process improvements and managing projects within a growing organization
  • Unfailing focus on P&L constraints and proven ability to deliver results on-time
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
  • Self-starter, confident in their abilities, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with others
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Strong organization and prioritizing skills; an attention to details and follows through on assigned tasks and projects
  • A can-do attitude with excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight
