Position Overview

Path Construction is seeking an Accounting Specialist to become a vital member of our finance team. This role is essential in supporting the accounting operations of a dynamic general contracting firm engaged in projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Daily Cash Flow Reports
  • Manage and Categorize credit card expenditures
  • Document and Reconcile intercompany financial activities
  • Compile Monthly Affidavit of Availability
  • Prepare and Submit state sales and use tax documentation
  • Assist in the month-end financial close and project cost evaluations
  • Provide support for Accounts Payable personnel
  • Distribute weekly compliance and accounts payable summaries
  • Gather data for external financial audits
  • Support special initiatives as needed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration is preferred
  • 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficient in Excel and Sage Construction CRE 300 software
