About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Foreman to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As an Aerial Foreman, you will play a critical role in the success of our utility construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable
  • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open-wire, drop, and block wire to maintain efficient operation of customers' facilities
  • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and safety barriers
  • Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions to ensure projects are built according to approved design specifications
  • Direct activities on the job site
  • Properly fill out necessary documentation and record time for the crew
  • Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager
  • Act as the lead for in-house crews
  • Oversee daily schedules, delivery schedules, and daily productivity of the Aerial crew
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction
  • Knowledge of telecom construction industry
  • Coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial, and underground construction experience
  • OSHA 10 training, CPR, and flagging certification
  • Ability to operate a digger Derek truck
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work and climb up to 35 feet
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and CTV cable prints
  • Ability to work on call, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
