Volt is currently seeking skilled Assembler Technicians in the manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in the production of high-speed packaging machinery tailored for the beverage industry.

Shift Options: 1st shift or 2nd shift with flexible start times.

Typical hours for 1st shift are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, while 2nd shift runs from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

As a Precision Assembly Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing assembly tasks that involve intricate electrical or mechanical operations on complex assemblies or sub-assemblies for packaging machinery.
  • Carrying out assembly-related operations that demand a high degree of skill and expertise.
  • Interpreting extensive specifications and technical diagrams.
  • Utilizing various tools, including hand tools and power tools, along with a range of testing and measuring devices.
  • Adhering to critical tolerances during assembly processes.
  • Demonstrating significant mechanical aptitude and knowledge of design principles, as well as mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
This is a full-time position.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required; technical school education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sub-assembly (electrical or mechanical) is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading assembly drawings, blueprints, and schematics is mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of precision assembly techniques and mechanical principles is required; knowledge of electrical principles is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Ability to operate measuring devices, hand and power tools, as well as arbor and drill presses.
  • Familiarity with the metric system and basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet tight deadlines.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage with a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.

*Salary will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, job location, specific duties, and certifications.
