Job Summary

The Account Executive - Direct Retail Sales role serves as a liaison between Spectrum and our Retail Partner Retail Direct Sales portfolio, fostering a strong partnership to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with assigned retail partners, identifying opportunities to increase sales, and ensuring the representation of the Spectrum brand while protecting the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Actively support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  2. Provide account management, including audits, field visits, training, business reviews, product knowledge support, customer concerns, brand compliance, and merchandising.
  3. Conduct regular meetings, training, and account reviews with assigned partners to ensure they are maximizing Spectrum sales and meeting quality standards and KPIs.
  4. Maintain knowledge and ensure delivery and understanding of current products, services, promotions, offerings, etc., to assigned partners.
  5. Collaborate closely with owners from assigned partners to create and manage growth plans.
  6. Work with Operations, Strategy, and divisional teams to ensure alignment with department and Company objectives.
  7. Coordinate and assist with special events, and oversee staffing, merchandising, and sales execution.
  8. Conduct side-by-side selling of Spectrum services to customers at retailer's locations, train and develop retailers.
Requirements
  1. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  2. Sales presentation skills, problem-solving capabilities, organized, and demonstrated initiative.
  3. Practical written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently.
  5. Comfort utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  6. Travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  7. Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings/weekends, and adjust the schedule as needed based on assigned partners' needs and to maximize sales opportunities.
  8. Reliable transportation.
  9. Valid and active State driver's license and safe driving record, as required.
  10. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
  11. Related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience - 5-7 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  2. Preferred years of solid sales experience with a proven track record - 5 years.
Working Conditions

20% in the office and 80% in the field with weekly visits to assigned partners and applicable retail locations—travel required for division-wide travel, sales, and networking events.
