We are currently looking for an Information Security Compliance Specialist to become a vital part of our team.

This position is accountable for executing technical and professional tasks within our operations and technology division, particularly concerning Emprise Bank's information security initiatives, business continuity strategies, and vendor oversight.

Core responsibilities of the role:
Information Security Program

- Oversee compliance and governance of the bank's Information Security Program, which encompasses:

- Regularly review and update the Information Security Risk Assessment and Information Assets Risk Assessments to identify threats and ensure appropriate controls are in place

- Assist stakeholders in developing, implementing, and maintaining relevant plans, policies, and procedures

- Document standard operating procedures to promote consistency in operations

- Evaluate processes for efficiency and effectiveness, making updates as necessary

- Collaborate with technology staff to ensure the security of confidential information and systems

- Design, implement, and schedule Information Security Awareness training for all employees through suitable training channels

- Validate and update components of the Information Security, Business Continuity, and Vendor Management programs, compiling necessary materials for reports to the board and committees as required

- Manage the Incident Response Program, ensuring thorough documentation and integration of lessons learned

Business Continuity

- Supervise the creation, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and testing of business continuity and pandemic plans for the organization, covering:

- Networks, operating systems, servers, and software applications

- Various departments and business processes

- Training initiatives for all employees

- Ensure comprehensive vendor management throughout the vendor lifecycle and maintain accurate software records

Communication and Execution

- Stay informed about current and upcoming Regulatory Guidelines, applying necessary modifications to relevant programs

- Engage with Emprise employees, other financial institutions, and vendors to strengthen relationships and share best practices

- Communicate effectively across diverse settings, tailoring messages to suit the audience

- Provide timely and valuable information to colleagues throughout the organization

- Coordinate internal and external Information Technology audits, as well as Regulatory Exams for the Bank

- Independently assess current processes and propose recommendations for efficiency and improvement

- Oversee reporting obligations and lead Information Technology projects as necessary

- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and industry experience

- 2-3 years of experience in Information Security, Business Continuity, and Vendor Management

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency with detection and monitoring software and hardware
