Core responsibilities of the role include:

Information Security Management
  • Oversee compliance and governance of the bank's Information Security Management Program, which encompasses:
    • Regularly reviewing and updating the Information Security Risk Assessment and Information Assets Risk Assessments to identify threats and implement necessary controls
    • Guiding stakeholders in the creation, execution, and maintenance of policies and procedures
    • Documenting standard operating procedures to ensure process consistency
    • Evaluating processes for efficiency and effectiveness, making updates as required
  • Collaborating with technology teams to safeguard confidential information and system assignments
  • Developing and facilitating Information Security Awareness training for all employees through suitable channels
  • Reviewing and updating components of the Information Security, Business Continuity, and Vendor Management programs, and preparing materials for board reports as necessary
  • Managing the Incident Response Program, ensuring comprehensive documentation and integration of lessons learned
Business Continuity Oversight
  • Supervising the design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and testing of business continuity and pandemic plans for the organization, including:
    • Networks, operating systems, servers, and software applications
    • Departments and business processes
    • Training initiatives for all employees
  • Overseeing vendor records to ensure comprehensive vendor management throughout the lifecycle
Communication and Execution
  • Staying informed of current and upcoming Regulatory Guidelines and implementing necessary adjustments to relevant programs
  • Engaging with Emprise employees, other financial institutions, and vendors to strengthen relationships and share best practices
  • Communicating effectively across various settings, tailoring messages to suit the audience
  • Providing timely and valuable information to colleagues across the organization
  • Coordinating internal and external IT audits, as well as Regulatory Exams for the Bank
  • Independently assessing current processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and resolve issues
  • Managing reporting requirements and leading IT projects as necessary
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed within the scope of the role.

Qualifications:
  • A college degree or equivalent educational background that, along with industry experience, enables the applicant to fulfill job requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in Information Security, Business Continuity, and Vendor Management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with detection and monitoring software and hardware
