Core Responsibilities:

Information Security Management

  • Oversee compliance and management of the bank's Information Security framework, including:
    • Regularly reviewing and updating the Information Security Risk Assessment to identify and mitigate potential threats
    • Guiding stakeholders in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
    • Documenting standard operating procedures to ensure process consistency
    • Evaluating processes for efficiency and making necessary updates
  • Collaborate with technology teams to safeguard sensitive information and systems
  • Design and deliver Information Security Awareness training for all staff
  • Review and enhance components of the Information Security, Business Continuity, and Vendor Management programs, preparing reports for the board as needed
  • Manage the Incident Response Program, ensuring comprehensive documentation and integration of lessons learned

Business Continuity Planning

  • Lead the development and testing of business continuity and pandemic response plans, covering:
    • Networks, operating systems, and software applications
    • Business processes and departmental functions
    • Training initiatives for all employees
  • Oversee vendor management to ensure compliance throughout the vendor lifecycle

Communication and Implementation

  • Stay informed on current and upcoming regulatory guidelines, adapting programs as necessary
  • Engage with employees, other financial institutions, and vendors to foster relationships and share best practices
  • Communicate effectively across various settings, tailoring messages to suit the audience
  • Provide timely and relevant information to stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal and external IT audits and regulatory examinations
  • Assess current processes independently and recommend improvements
  • Manage reporting requirements and lead IT projects as needed

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in Information Security, Business Continuity, or Vendor Management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with security monitoring tools and software
