Location: KCMO Area - (Near North Indian Mound)

Environment: Industrial - Rail Yard

Compensation: Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 / hr.

Work Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (mornings); Monday & Tuesday - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (afternoon)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound merchandise.
  • Perform vehicle patrols using company vehicles during assigned shifts.
  • Spend the majority of time inside a checkpoint facility, interacting with traffic entering and exiting the property.
  • Execute other security-related tasks as assigned.
  • Receive on-the-job training.

General Security Duties:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
  • Respond promptly to critical situations.
  • Compose detailed reports.
  • Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Capability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
  • Proficient phone and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age as per applicable law or contractual requirements.
  • KCMO Class A Security License (GardaWorld will assist in obtaining if necessary).

General Requirements:

  • Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
