About the Position

Origin Materials is seeking a highly experienced Business Development and Sales Director to lead our commercial efforts for caps and closures. As a key member of our commercial development team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans to ensure accurate revenue projections and growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and licensing agreements.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of direct B2B commercial experience in the global marketplace.
  • Significant experience within the polyester/specialty polyesters/Caps and Closures/Packaging industry or related.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding customer base, and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
