Job Overview

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team in a rotational internship program. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various job functions, including operations, sales, and leadership development.

During this internship, you will work closely with our Branch Service Professionals to develop skills in counter sales, shipping, and receiving. You will also have the opportunity to shadow and perform the duties of a Branch Manager, gaining insight into strategic planning and operations management.

In addition to operations experience, you will work alongside our Account Managers to develop sales skills and participate in sales calls and activities to grow the business. You will also have the opportunity to work with high-level leadership, including Regional and Divisional Managers, to gain exposure to strategic development and employee growth.

As part of this internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a Capstone Project, where you will use your knowledge, skills, and interests to develop process improvement strategies for Ewing. Examples of projects include customer churn outreach, employee stay interviews, social media outreach, customer satisfaction exploration, and learning and development activity effectiveness.

At the completion of the project, you will have the opportunity to present your findings to a group of company executives. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful contribution to the company.

Requirements

  • Must be a candidate for a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Candidates for a Bachelor's degree must have at least 75 hours at the end of the fall semester prior to the internship
