Senior Account Sales Manager

NOV, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account sales management, with a focus on well construction and completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts to close sales deals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing effective solutions.
Sales Generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategies to maximize sales revenue, and negotiate contracts to close sales deals.
Account Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate efforts and deliver exceptional service to clients.
Market Analysis:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and product improvement.
Requirements
A technical engineering diploma and/or degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in account sales management, specifically in well construction and completion. 5+ years of well construction and/or completion field operations experience and/or 5+ years drilling rig and/or service (workover) rig experience prior to entering account sales management. Excellent interpersonal skills, clear and persuasive communication skills, and strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in well construction and completion system design, using sales CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for sales management, reporting, and well construction and completion system design. Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and company priorities to achieve sales targets. Ability to travel throughout the USA on occasion, and Internationally on rare occasion.
