Advanced Machine Technician

Salary: $28.00 DOE
We are in search of an Advanced Machine Technician to join our team. This role involves working in a manufacturing setting, where you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including pressure testing and deburring equipment, as well as measurement systems and fitting installations.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Aptitude for reading blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous
- Experience with precision measurement tools, such as calipers and micrometers, is preferred
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a background check.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery including, but not limited to:
- Measuring parts using Supravision VMM and Tubshaper software
- Tube deburring and flaring machines
- Pressure testing machines
- Tube cutting band saws
- Disk and circular grinders
- Pneumatic hand tools
- Interpret customer and industry specifications from engineering documents
- Execute tube manufacturing processes in compliance with specifications and internal instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate equipment safely and effectively
- Understand and be certified in basic metrology tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Adhere to quality manuals and procedures
- Input relevant process data into the ERP system during production runs
- Track time accurately and meet expected performance targets
- Be proactive in loading and unloading production parts and supporting offline tasks
- Monitor cutting tools for malfunctions and report issues to senior operators
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
This role is performed in both an office and a manufacturing environment. The manufacturing area may have noise levels requiring the use of OSHA-approved ear protection. Personal protective equipment such as ear protection, dust masks, respirators, gloves, and safety glasses may be necessary.
Education and Experience:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in manufacturing preferred. Entry-level to 10 years of relevant work experience is acceptable. Experience with CNC operations is a plus.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in typing, Windows, Microsoft Office, and ERP system navigation is required.
