**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Wahoos Fish Tacos (WFTLV). As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses, including inventory, supplies, and labor costs, to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Ordering and Inventory: Place orders for ingredients and supplies, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure that our kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, meeting the requirements of the Health Department.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Invoicing and Receiving: Manage the processing of invoices and receipts, and ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Catering and Events: Assist with catering and events, both on and off site, to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
  • Servesafe Certification: Maintain Servesafe certification, ensuring that our kitchen staff are trained and certified in food safety and handling procedures.
