Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the Cardiac Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical and clinical support to licensed nursing personnel
  • Transcribe and compute physician orders accurately
  • Assemble and maintain patient medical records
  • Handle desk communications and route messages promptly
  • Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and intake/output
  • Perform and document point-of-care testing and patient mobility
  • Organize equipment and supplies, and complete bedmaking and cleaning assignments
  • Assist with admitting, transferring, and discharging patients
  • Transport patients, lab work, and specimens
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
  • State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) certification (preferred)
