Position Overview

Salary: $37,403.00 annually

The Hume Center is offering a valuable opportunity for a qualified Post-Doctoral Fellow/Post-Graduate Associate under the guidance of the Clinic Program Manager/Clinical Supervisor. This role is pivotal in advancing our department's mission and enhancing our organizational growth.

Our commitment lies in delivering culturally sensitive behavioral health services, professional training, and clinical research, while continually improving through data-driven quality assurance and program evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  2. Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychological Assistant or Psychologist with the relevant boards
  3. Preferred one year of clinical experience in providing psychological services
  4. Strong knowledge of community resources is highly preferred
  5. Experience in delivering psychotherapy to diverse populations
  6. Training in Mental Health Consultation is a plus
  7. Full-time availability, minimum 40 hours/week
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records
  9. Valid driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work-related travel
  10. Ability to be accessible via personal cell phone for crisis situations
  11. Proficiency in multiple languages such as Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Farsi/Dari is advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Engage in didactic and supervision forums to meet licensure requirements
  2. Responsible for timely documentation submission to the Board
  3. Deliver comprehensive clinical services including intake, assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention
  4. Conduct initial screenings and coordinate services with therapists
  5. Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals and methods
  6. Schedule and conduct regular client appointments in various settings
  7. Collaborate with family members and other stakeholders as needed
  8. Maintain ongoing communication with clients and service providers
  9. Facilitate therapy and support groups
  10. Identify and establish relationships with community resources
  11. Participate in weekly staff meetings and training sessions
  12. Document client case records and maintain compliance with agency requirements
  13. Meet established billable hour targets
  14. Contribute to trainee recruitment efforts as necessary
  15. Present and facilitate training meetings and program orientations
