The Hume Center is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychology Associate to support our mission of enhancing psychological well-being within our community. This role is pivotal in the development and expansion of our behavioral health services.

OUR MISSION: The Hume Center is dedicated to fostering an environment of psychological wellness for both our staff and the communities we serve. We prioritize the needs of underrepresented populations by offering culturally sensitive behavioral health services, professional training, and clinical research. Our commitment to continuous improvement is driven by data analysis and program evaluation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  2. Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychological Assistant or Psychologist
  3. Preferred one year of clinical experience in psychological services
  4. Strong knowledge of community resources is highly desirable
  5. Experience in providing psychotherapy to diverse populations
  6. Training in Mental Health Consultation is a plus
  7. Availability for full-time work, minimum 40 hours per week
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records
  9. Valid California Driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work-related travel
  10. Ability to provide services in multiple languages, including Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Farsi/Dari

  4. Conduct initial screenings and coordinate services with therapists
  5. Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals and intervention strategies
  6. Schedule and conduct regular client appointments in various settings
  7. Maintain ongoing communication with clients and service providers
  8. Facilitate support and therapy groups
  9. Provide mental health consultation and identify community resources
  10. Participate in weekly staff meetings and training sessions
  11. Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  12. Meet minimum billable hours as established by the organization
  13. Contribute to trainee recruitment and program orientation sessions
