The Hume Center is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychology Associate to support our growth and enhance our service offerings. This role is pivotal in contributing to the development of our behavioral health department under the guidance of our Clinic Program Manager.

OUR MISSION: At The Hume Center, we are dedicated to fostering psychological well-being for both our internal team and the communities we serve. We prioritize the needs of underrepresented populations by delivering culturally sensitive behavioral health services, professional training, and clinical research, while continuously improving our practices through data-driven quality assurance and program evaluation.

LOCATION: Pleasanton / Tri-Valley

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  2. Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychological Assistant or Psychologist with the relevant boards
  3. Preferred one year of clinical experience in providing psychological services
  4. Strong knowledge of community resources is highly desirable
  5. Experience in delivering psychotherapy to diverse populations
  6. Training in Mental Health Consultation is a plus
  7. Full-time availability (minimum 40 hours/week) is required
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records
  9. Valid California Driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work-related travel
  10. Ability to provide services in multiple languages is advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  2. Maintain responsibility for timely documentation and Board submissions
  3. Deliver comprehensive clinical services including intake, assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention
  4. Conduct initial screenings and coordinate services with therapists
  5. Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals and methods
  6. Schedule and conduct regular client appointments in various settings
  7. Collaborate with families and other professionals involved in client care
  8. Facilitate therapy groups and provide mental health consultations
  9. Identify and connect clients with community resources
  10. Attend weekly meetings and training sessions
  11. Maintain accurate client records and documentation as required
  12. Participate in recruitment and training activities as needed
