University Medical Partners (UMP), affiliated with Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE physician specializing in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine to become part of our multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview:
  • Full-time commitment consists of 36 patient contact hours weekly.
  • We are looking for a general Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine physician to collaborate with three other physicians in the clinic.
  • Primary clinic location is Pleasanton, with a secondary site in Livermore.
  • This role encompasses a blend of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, outpatient Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and inpatient general Pulmonary consult service.
  • Clinicians typically manage around 14-16 patients daily.
  • The outpatient clinic includes the interpretation of Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs).
  • Call Schedule: 1:3 for Pulmonary coverage; averages include 1-2 in-house night shifts and 1-2 evening shifts monthly covering the medical ICU and post-surgical patients.
  • Experience in CVICU is essential; Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy experience is preferred.
  • Collaborate with faculty physicians from Stanford University School of Medicine.
  • Teaching opportunities available for Stanford PCCM and Critical Care Fellows as well as anticipated Family Medicine Residents.
