Position Overview

Salary: $37,403.00 annually

The Hume Center is offering a valuable opportunity for a qualified Clinical Psychology Associate under the guidance of our Clinic Program Manager/Clinical Supervisor. This role is pivotal in advancing our department's growth and enhancing our service delivery.

LOCATION: Pleasanton (Office) / Tri-Valley (Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  2. Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychological Assistant or Registered Psychologist with the relevant boards
  3. Preferred one year of clinical experience in providing psychological services
  4. Strong knowledge of community resources is highly preferred
  5. Experience in delivering psychotherapy to diverse populations
  6. Training in Mental Health Consultation is preferred
  7. Full-time availability (minimum 40 hours/week) is required
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, GSuite, and Electronic Health Records
  9. Valid California Driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work-related travel
  10. Willingness to use personal cell phone for accessibility during emergencies
  11. Proficient in providing services in multiple languages, including Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, and Farsi/Dari

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Engage in didactic and supervision forums to meet licensure requirements
  2. Responsible for timely documentation and Board submissions
  3. Provide comprehensive clinical services, including intake, assessment, therapy, case management, and crisis intervention
  4. Conduct initial screenings and coordinate services with therapists
  5. Develop individualized treatment plans outlining goals, objectives, and intervention methods
  6. Schedule and conduct regular appointments with clients in various settings
  7. Collaborate with family members, caseworkers, and other stakeholders as needed
  8. Maintain ongoing communication with clients and service providers to monitor progress
  9. Facilitate support and therapy groups
  10. Provide mental health consultation and identify community resources
  11. Attend weekly staff meetings and training sessions
  12. Maintain accurate client case records and documentation
  13. Participate in trainee recruitment and program orientation as necessary
  14. Typical working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch break; some evening hours may be required
