The Department of Information Sciences and Technology invites applications for one or more tenure-track or tenured faculty positions in the areas of information sciences and technology. Successful candidates will be expected to develop a program of scholarly research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and participate in departmental governance and service.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in information sciences and technology
  • Develop a program of scholarly research in information sciences and technology
  • Participate in departmental governance and service
  • Advise students and mentor junior faculty members

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Information Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence and productivity in research and teaching

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching and research in information sciences and technology
  • Strong publication record in top-tier journals and conferences
  • Ability to build collaborations with other departments and institutions
