Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator for Inclusive Excellence to join our team at the University of Vermont. This role will be responsible for coordinating virtual, hybrid, and in-person events and programs that support inclusive excellence at the Larner College of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be responsible for creating annual event plans, including calendars, timelines, deliverables, communication strategies, and performance metrics.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work with vendors, including caterers, photographers, and marketing teams, to coordinate contract processes and ensure successful programming and compliance with UVM processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate virtual, hybrid, and in-person events and programs
  • Create annual event plans, including calendars, timelines, deliverables, communication strategies, and performance metrics
  • Work with vendors to coordinate contract processes
  • Ensure successful programming and compliance with UVM processes and policies

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree with one to three years of related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Experience with social media tools, techniques, analytics, and reporting
