This is a hybrid position, allowing for remote work on designated days while requiring onsite presence during the week.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage in various responsibilities tailored to your expertise and interests.
  • Consumer Support Focus - Primarily handle communications via phone, email, and live chat to assist customers.
Your role will involve managing customer accounts by delivering comprehensive pre and post-sales assistance. You will ensure that clients receive accurate information regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines. Additionally, you will address inquiries related to order status, shipping schedules, claims, and returns. Collaborating with multiple departments will be essential to meet customer needs effectively.

WORK LOCATION

At our expansive manufacturing and distribution facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily open orders to guarantee prompt shipping.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding order processing based on inventory levels.
  • Maintain precise and current customer records in the database.
  • Assist with customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Data Analysis teams for customer account and pricing updates.
  • Manage order processing to ensure accuracy and adherence to shipping schedules.
  • Prioritize urgent orders and manage key accounts and activities.
  • Coordinate with various departments on production and inventory matters.
  • Input orders into the system accurately and verify data integrity.
  • Process return authorizations in line with company policies.
  • Document, archive, and audit orders and communications systematically.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or related fields.
  • Proficient in technology, internet navigation, and computer use.
  • Experience with Customer Database or Order Management systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build rapport with customers and maintain a service-oriented mindset.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and investigative abilities.
  • Experience with data entry on personal computers.
  • Knowledge of order status communication is a plus.
  • Familiarity with order entry processes is advantageous.
  • Understanding of manufacturing or retail operations is beneficial.
ENVIRONMENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
