ABOUT YOU

As a Customer Service Representative, you will focus on key areas that align with your skills and interests.
  • Consumer Support Role - Primarily handle communications through calls, emails, and live chat to assist customers.
Your responsibilities will include managing customer accounts by offering support before and after sales. You will ensure that customers receive accurate information regarding products, pricing, availability, and lead times. Additionally, you will address inquiries related to order status, delivery schedules, claims, and returns, collaborating with various departments to meet customer needs effectively.

WORK LOCATION

In a substantial manufacturing and distribution facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily open orders to guarantee timely dispatch.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding order processing based on inventory levels.
  • Keep customer information current and accurate in the system.
  • Assist with customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Data Analysis teams on account and pricing updates.
  • Manage order processing to ensure precision in scheduling and shipping timelines.
  • Prioritize urgent orders and shipments, focusing on key accounts and tasks.
  • Coordinate with other departments on production control and inventory management.
  • Input orders into the system while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Process return authorizations in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain documentation, archiving, and auditing of orders and communications.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles or customer service.
  • Proficient in technology, internet navigation, and computer usage.
  • Experience with Customer Database or Order Management systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build rapport over the phone with a customer-centric approach.
  • Thrives in a dynamic team environment.
  • Maintains composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and investigative abilities.
  • Experience with data entry on personal computers.
  • Knowledge of order status communication is a plus.
  • Familiarity with order entry functions is advantageous.
  • Understanding of manufacturing or retail processes is beneficial.
