Position Overview:


The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) oversees business development initiatives for the organization, spearheading sales efforts and securing new business from key clients and accounts.

This role is accountable for maintaining premier customer relationships and fostering those essential connections.

The Strategic Account Executive will identify client needs and promote additional product and service offerings that will benefit the client.

Specific SAEs focusing on the government sector will concentrate on opportunities involving municipal and county agencies, educational institutions, recreational departments, and more.


Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for advanced sales assets & manage relationships at the highest regional levels (Regional Commercial Construction and Sector Focused)

Develop and execute a strategy to achieve sales performance objectives

Utilize market intelligence and analytics to craft effective value propositions

Collaborate closely with the Sales VP and Director of Sales to formulate regional/area strategies for Key Account identification

Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively

Recognize key projects and opportunities in the region/area from key accounts and collaborate with Territory Account Managers to pursue and finalize

Expand the business within the region/area using diverse sales methodologies

Guide and mentor Territory Account Managers throughout the sales process

Maintain thorough knowledge of all United Site Services products and services

Generate quotes and orders while documenting sales activities and leveraging business intelligence through Salesforce

Participate in relevant industry events and conferences to enhance business opportunities

Perform additional duties as assigned

SAEs assigned to the Government sector are also required to fulfill the following essential functions of the role:

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of government procurement requirements and compliance regulations

Collaborate closely with the Legal department when managing government contracts to ensure adherence

Work alongside GM/Sales VP and Director of Sales to devise market strategies for Government Accounts and opportunity identification

Identify key projects and opportunities in the market from government agencies and partner with Sales and Operations teams to pursue and finalize

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry preferred

A proven sales professional accustomed to working with targets

Demonstrated success in sales, business development, acquiring new business, and increasing revenue through lead generation

Understanding of current industry challenges and a knowledge of the operational attention to detail required for success within the industry

Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.)

Customer Service, Teamwork with all sales channels and operations

Lead Sourcing

Closing and Negotiating

Time Management and organization

Excellent follow-up skills (leads, issue resolution, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Decision Making and Problem Solving

Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance

SAEs assigned to the Government sector are also required to possess the following:

Knowledge of Government purchasing processes and compliance requirements

Ability to navigate and develop trusted relationships within government entities to identify opportunities, gain approved vendor status, build a pipeline, close deals, and establish ongoing recurring business

Physical Requirements:

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US.

Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.

Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.

Salary Range:
$65,000.00 – $(phone number removed) / year
