About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Industrial Rail Operations Specialist to join our team at Petroleum Service Corporation, An SGS Company.

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of railcars in our industrial chemical plant. As an Industrial Rail Operations Specialist, you will be involved in cleaning and inspecting railcars before transfer, connecting or disconnecting mobile transfer units, and inspecting for leaks, weighing railcars, and completing required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and visually inspect railcars to ensure they are ready for transfer
  • Operate trackmobile or locomotive to safely move railcars within the plant
  • Examine track lists to plan railcar movement and optimize efficiency
  • Communicate with rail team members, leadership, and customer contacts to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and/or TWIC card (depending on work location)
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the US
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
