Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordination Specialist to join our team at CCRM Fertility. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fertility treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Record Management: Accurately transcribe, enter, scan, and verify data from source documents into the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
  • Lab Order Placement: Place daily lab orders as directed by the RN, ensuring that all necessary tests are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Medication Management: Obtain prior authorizations for medications as directed by the RN, and communicate with patient pharmacies to ensure timely prescription fulfillment.
  • Chart Audits: Perform regular chart audits to ensure that all patient records are complete and up-to-date, and alert the RN to any deficiencies or discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels of consignment medication, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available when needed.
  • Communication: Assist with answering calls to the nurse line, checking voicemails, and documenting actions taken in patient EMRs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Medical Assistant certificate required; Current BLS certification required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of medical assistant experience preferred.

This role operates in a professional office, clinical, and/or laboratory setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, including computer keyboards and mice; telephones; photocopiers; scanners; filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will interact with others and ensure compliance with medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of care and patient and staff safety.
