Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and evaluating operational risks within the organization. Your responsibilities will include coordinating risk mitigation efforts and providing support to various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development of systems solutions for the oversight of Lender Operational Risk.
  • Efficiently document and report on the processing and analysis of extensive data sets.
  • Engage in operational risk assessments, which may involve analyzing large volumes of data and generating reports.
  • Translate data analysis results into clear, actionable insights for the business.
  • Collaborate with developers and business architects to convert business needs into technical specifications.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about operational risk within the multifamily sector to enhance system utilization.
  • Identify and monitor risks affecting teams or the organization.
  • Facilitate risk management activities across different groups.
  • Analyze risks and work with the team to formulate effective solutions.
  • Partner with various teams on strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Implement decisions or plans to avert risks or lessen their effects.
Qualifications

Essential Experience

Minimum Required Experience:

  • 2 years in a relevant field.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of programming, including coding and debugging.
  • Ability to collaborate respectfully with individuals from diverse functional backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with the housing market; knowledge of multifamily operations is advantageous.
  • Experience in gathering and presenting accurate information to clarify concepts and address critical inquiries.
  • Proficient in managing project timelines and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ability to derive solutions through analysis of inputs, outputs, and processes.
  • Experience in data analysis to identify trends and inform conclusions.
  • Active participation in meetings, with a focus on absorbing information and taking ownership of follow-up actions.
  • Proficient in identifying and escalating issues as they arise.

Tools:

  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Experienced with Tableau.
  • Skilled in Excel.
  • Familiarity with APIs for software development.
  • Knowledge of Python object-oriented programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in MySQL.
  • Understanding of coding principles.
