Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in monitoring and reviewing operational risks within the organization, coordinating risk mitigation efforts, and providing essential support to various departments.

Your Contributions

The Multifamily Operational Risk & Data Senior Associate position allows you the autonomy to manage your daily tasks while collaborating with dedicated colleagues to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Drive system solutions for monitoring Lender Operational Risk.
  • Efficiently document and report on the processing or analysis of substantial data sets using your knowledge of systems.
  • Contribute to operational risk assessments, which may involve analyzing large data volumes and generating reports.
  • Translate data analysis results into clear and actionable insights for the business.
  • Collaborate with developers and business architects to convert business needs into technology specifications.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about operational risk in the multifamily sector to enhance system utilization.
  • Identify and monitor risks affecting teams or the organization.
  • Coordinate risk management activities across various groups.
  • Analyze risks and work with the team to devise effective solutions.
  • Partner with teams and business units to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement plans or decisions to prevent risks or lessen their impact.
Qualifications

Essential Experience

Minimum Required Experience:

  • 2 years in a relevant field.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of programming, including coding and debugging in relevant languages.
  • Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with individuals from diverse functional backgrounds towards shared objectives.
  • Familiarity with the housing market; knowledge of multifamily operations is advantageous.
  • Experience in gathering precise information to clarify concepts and address critical inquiries.
  • Proficient in managing project plans, resources, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Capable of deriving solutions from analyzing inputs, outputs, and processes.
  • Experience in data analysis to identify trends or relationships that inform data-driven conclusions.
  • Active participation in meetings, absorbing information, and taking ownership of follow-up actions.
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues as they arise.

Tools

  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Experienced with Tableau.
  • Skilled in Excel.
  • Familiar with using APIs for software development or programming.
  • Proficient in Python object-oriented programming.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
