Job Description

At SMS, we're seeking a skilled and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for daily sales appointments, traveling locally within a 20-mile radius of your home
  • Direct 2-3 sales appointments daily with small to medium-sized business owners to market and secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements
  • Provide feedback to Business Coordinators on appointment outcomes and share new business lead opportunities
  • Review daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, receiving support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience or face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant experience is a strong consideration
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to uncover clients' pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a $100K-$110K realistic first-year earning potential and opportunities for high six-figure commissions. Comprehensive new hire and ongoing training and development are also provided.
