Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Recruiter to join our team at Fresh Express. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of hourly positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire top talent for hourly positions, ensuring compliance with Affirmative Action Plans and Employment Law.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top candidates.
  • Conduct pre-employment processes, including drug screens, background checks, and E-Verify.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including benefit orientation and training.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including the Global Food Safety Policy Manual.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience, preferably in an HR/production environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office and Workday.
  • Knowledge of Affirmative Action Plans and Employment Law.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bilingual.
  • Previous experience working in a Union environment.
  • AS400, Kronos, Ceridian, or Workday experience.

Education/Training:

High school diploma required. Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Food Safety Role & Responsibility:

The HR Recruiter is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Global Food Safety Policy Manual and providing support for food safety training and quality assurance.
