Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist the Director of Finance and Accounting in the operations of the Accounting Department at DHR Health. This position will require preparing forecasts, performing cost and variance analysis of patient accounts data, ensuring the accuracy of balance sheet accounts, and providing assistance in long-range planning and profitability assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Develop and implement financial models to analyze and interpret financial data, providing valuable insights to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial plans, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
  • Database Management: Develop and maintain databases to store and analyze financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Communication: Communicate financial information to various stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external agencies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required; Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in accounting or related field required; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of financial software, including Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools.
