About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our North America Polymers team and drive commercial growth for our Polymers & Rubber business segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve business objectives and drive organic growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Partner closely with Science & Technology to develop new products and applications.
  • Collaborate with Distribution teams to implement business strategies and coordinate efforts with global counterparts.
  • Design and lead market strategies and growth plans for the Polymers & Rubber business segment.
  • Set performance goals, allocate sales teams, and provide accurate input to the Sales Planning function.
  • Support the Finance team in reaching accounts receivables targets and collaborate with the Commercial Excellence Group.
  • Implement performance management routines, including monthly sales huddles and one-to-one coaching sessions.
  • Support Marketing in understanding market trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering or Science preferred.
  • Proven industry experience as a Regional Head of Sales.
  • Experience managing a multi-site and international sales team.
  • Travel up to 50%.
  • Proven leadership and motivational skills to drive a sales team and achieve expected results.
  • Strong customer sense and strategic understanding.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to positively influence others without direct reporting lines.
  • Strong selling skills, including negotiation and communication.
  • Business acumen.
