We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our North America Polymers team and drive commercial growth for our Polymers & Rubber business segment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve business objectives and drive organic growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Partner closely with Science & Technology to develop new products and applications.
- Collaborate with Distribution teams to implement business strategies and coordinate efforts with global counterparts.
- Design and lead market strategies and growth plans for the Polymers & Rubber business segment.
- Set performance goals, allocate sales teams, and provide accurate input to the Sales Planning function.
- Support the Finance team in reaching accounts receivables targets and collaborate with the Commercial Excellence Group.
- Implement performance management routines, including monthly sales huddles and one-to-one coaching sessions.
- Support Marketing in understanding market trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity.
- BS in Engineering or Science preferred.
- Proven industry experience as a Regional Head of Sales.
- Experience managing a multi-site and international sales team.
- Travel up to 50%.
- Proven leadership and motivational skills to drive a sales team and achieve expected results.
- Strong customer sense and strategic understanding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to positively influence others without direct reporting lines.
- Strong selling skills, including negotiation and communication.
- Business acumen.
