About the Role:

DMS International is seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our learning services team. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our clients. Your expertise in adult learning theory and facilitation will enable you to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training programs to clients in a variety of settings, including traditional and virtual classrooms.
  • Maintain and revise training materials as required to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Certify in courses according to our certification plan.
  • Stay up-to-date with current management best practices, training approaches, and organizational activities.
  • Participate as a team member and contribute to the development of new training programs.
  • Conduct classroom administration and participate in professional development activities.
  • Travel, as required, to deliver instruction and engage with clients.

Requirements:

  • MA/MS in Business Administration, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Three to five years of experience as a facilitator in a formal traditional or virtual training environment.
  • Expertise in the facilitation of learning and the transfer of job-related knowledge.
  • Highly experienced in motivating learners and engaging a variety of learning techniques to ensure context-specific learning.
  • Five years of experience as a manager or supervisor, with experience as a manager in federal agencies highly preferred.
