Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to provide administrative support to our project teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractual documents, tracking project phases, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contractual documents, including contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Track project phases and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in contract development and approval routing
  • Order bonds and insurance as required
  • Track contract status and prime contract change order process
  • Notarize, forward, and file owner pay applications
  • Handle owner-paid purchase order processing and coordinate with finance department
  • Review and approve transmittal and sales tax information
  • Issue and review subcontract packets, including subcontract and letter, supplier list, and blank applications for payment
  • Collect and verify subcontractor information and insurance requirements
  • Track and collect insurance renewals and state and local license renewals
  • Manage subcontractors and commitments in GC Pay
  • Aid in project closeout documentation and assist Project Manager as assigned

  • Advanced customer service skills to build and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors

Preferred Qualifications
  • A.S. degree in construction management or similar
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor
  • Experience in managing a direct hire workforce and subcontractors
  • Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry
