Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Audience Development and Growth to lead our efforts in growing and engaging our business audience. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strategic mindset, innovative spirit, and a proven ability to drive audience growth and engagement through compelling content informed by data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive audience strategies aligned with our organizational goals and mission.
  • Lead a team of professionals in engaging all parts of our audience segments on all platforms.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate audience-centric approaches across the organization.
  • Leverage best practices to create engaging, informative content that resonates with our business audiences.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision making within the team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in audience strategy, content development, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging audiences, particularly in a newsroom or nonprofit sector.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse business audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $138,091.00 to $180,000.00.
