Bilingual Clinic Nurse Position

The AmeriCares Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinic Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clinic staff with all operations of clinic sessions and administrative issues as needed.
- Oversee the administrative, organizational, and clinical operations in the absence of the Clinic Director.
- Assist the Clinic Director and staff with special projects and other activities.
- Develop and implement effective patient care plans, including medication management and education.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Manage patient records, including electronic health records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
- Minimum one year of experience working with adults with chronic medical problems.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Demonstrated clinical skills and ability to work compassionately in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including volunteers.
