Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager II to join our team at Compass Group, North America. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the clinical nutrition functions for our healthcare systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Establish and implement clinical nutrition programs that align with our medical direction, patient population, and contract requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, lead, direct, coach, train, and develop clinical nutrition managers and team members to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Strategic Planning: Foster a collaborative team environment and develop effective strategies to implement innovative programs that drive clinical nutrition and financial outcomes.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of clinical nutrition teams to ensure competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy.
  • Workforce Management: Assign and direct the workload of clinical nutrition staff, participating in staffing analysis to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Formulary Management: Evaluate and coordinate system-wide nutrition formulary to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agencies, adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in and direct system-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) Programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Professional Development: Participate in and attend system and departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Credentials: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable.
  • Education: Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian, including two years in a managerial position.
  • Certifications: Professional certification (i.e., CDE, CNSC) preferred.
