We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Investigator to join our team at Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for the execution, planning, and management of assigned clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Direction and Protocol Review: Provide overall medical direction and review of protocols in conformance with the investigational plan and good clinical practice.
- Medical Expertise and Feasibility: Provide medical expertise and scientific feasibility for new sponsor inquiries.
- Participant Safety and Well-being: Ensure that the safety and well-being of all participants in the study at the trial site are protected.
- Data Integrity and Accuracy: Ensure that data collected at the study site is credible and accurate.
- Participant Rights and Confidentiality: Ensure that the rights, integrity, and confidentiality of all participants in the trial at the site are protected.
- Collaboration and Communication: Assist and provide guidance to clinical operations, research staff, and to sponsor client managers as required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements, principles of GCP, and biomedical research ethics.
- Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to communicate effectively in a flexible and collaborative manner, with critical thinking, dynamic problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Education and Experience: Minimum qualifications include an M.D or D.O with an active medical license, training and certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and board certification or board eligibility in a specialty appropriate to the type of research being conducted at the site.
