We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager II to join our team at Compass Group, North America. Key Responsibilities:- Program Development and Implementation: Establish and implement clinical nutrition programs that align with our clients' medical direction, patient population, and contract requirements.
- Team Leadership: Hire, lead, direct, coach, train, and develop clinical nutrition managers and team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Strategic Planning: Foster a collaborative team environment and develop effective strategies to implement innovative programs that drive optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee or conduct the evaluation of clinical nutrition teams to ensure they are meeting departmental policy and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Management: Assign and direct the workload of the clinical nutrition staff, participate in staffing analysis to ensure adequate staffing, and monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy.
- Formulary Management: Evaluate and coordinate system-wide nutrition formulary to ensure it meets client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, and adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
- Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement: Participate in and direct system-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) Programs to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Professional Development: Participate in and attend system and departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
- Credentials: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable.
- Education: Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Five years of experience in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian, including two years in a managerial position.
- Professional Certification: Professional certification (i.e., CDE, CNSC) preferred.
