Commercial Roofing Superintendent Job Description

At Perpetual Labor Sourcing, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of roofing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating roofing projects to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to gather information and coordinate project activities.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with procurement of materials and equipment needed for roofing projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Monitor project progress and assist in resolving any issues or delays, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as transportation and delivery of materials to project sites, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, protecting the well-being of our team members and clients.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and tracking expenses, ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in construction management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in commercial roofing required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Mobility to navigate construction sites and climb ladders is required.
