Senior Costing and Production Manager

The Senior Costing and Production Manager will be instrumental in the Production Division, renowned for its dedication to quality and its capacity to achieve outstanding outcomes in a dynamic setting. Key responsibilities encompass supervising the production workflow (including costing evaluations and production timelines), data analysis, decisive judgment, and facilitating communication with international offices. Ideal candidates should demonstrate advanced Excel proficiency, strong communication skills, and a talent for resolving issues. This role offers stimulating challenges, a team-oriented environment, and significant contributions that directly affect product excellence. The position will report to the Director of Production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee both Domestic and International brand production
  • Conduct costing evaluations while setting and negotiating pricing objectives with manufacturers
  • Relay projections to agents
  • Supervise production timelines to guarantee prompt execution
  • Deliver weekly sales trend analysis reports to the Sales Director/EVP
  • Input cost sheets
  • Manage Production and Sales Order Entries
  • Ensure daily distribution email reviews are processed efficiently
  • Analyze shipping lists from manufacturers
  • Provide updates on Commitment Costs
  • Handle Inquiry Commitment Entries
  • Address customer service inquiries related to specific brand management
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • Experience in costing negotiations is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 2 years in a Production Coordinator position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups) and Outlook
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of teamwork and accountability
  • Familiarity with Blue Cherry ERP Software or similar systems is advantageous
